Before you go
We met on hinge, toured the world, and now we're staging a baroque fever dream in Sicily with our favorite people from said world tour.
If you're reading this, you're already part of the story. We're glad you're here. Here's the plan to help you prepare.
Schedule overview
8.22 — Arrivals
Check-in and join the whatsapp group to meet other early arrivers.
Perhaps some lazy evening dinners and cards, and spa hours for anyone who arrives early and looks tired. Masseria Degli Ulivi has a cute restaurant on-site. Try the pasta alla norma, a classic Sicilian dish.
8.23 — A Day in Taormina — a walking wander for early arrivers
For guests who arrive a day early we will wander the cliff-side town of Taormina. Gondola rides, mouth-watering pizza, a walking tour of isola bella, and of course - aperol spritz overlooking the sea. For those interested in participating, please RSVP on the to-dos page.

Pool party at the masseria — bring your swimmers and sunscreen.
DJ Asami, all way from Tokyo, will be spinning tracks poolside.
Optional cooking class.
Casual courtyard dinner.
8.25 — The wedding
Chariots → ceremony → procession → dinner → dance floor → afters, if your body allows.
8.26 — Recovery
Sleep in. Slow brunch. Nobody is required to be charming.
Getting to Noto
Getting to and from the airport: Please add your flight info on the "to-dos" tab. We'll coordinate private or shared group transfers to and from the airport at one set rate.
Transport for additional trips + private driving: For anything outside of arrival/departure — day trips, private drivers, or custom tours — you can coordinate directly with Nino on WhatsApp at: +39 333 150 1178
Nino is a fantastic driver — we've booked with him in the past. He's great for things like a day in Syracuse/Ortigia, beach runs, or exploring nearby towns. Excellent English, premium cars, reliable, and fair pricing.
Please let him know Alessia and the Mancuso party sent you.
Travel note: We strongly recommend booking flights by early May — August is peak Italy, and it gets expensive + messy fast.
Where to stay
You'll be assigned to one of the following villas/masserias, all within minutes of each other:
- Masseria Cardinale
- Masseria degli Ulivi
- Villas Timo
Pricing will vary slightly by property and room type, but expect ~$150–$200/night per person.
Why noto?
Because Devin's father's family is from Ucria, a mountain town inland from Noto.
Noto felt like the right place to gather: open to the sea, built for long evenings and shared meals.
Here's the style guide for the big night
Formal dress code: Baroque tie
The venue is stone. The guests are jewels.
Dress like something precious unearthed from a sicilian quarry.
Women's
Dress code: Formal
Formal eveningwear only. Think drama, weight, intention.
Re: heels
The quarry floor is ancient stone. Delicate stilettos may not survive.
The earth is uneven. Choose shoes that can walk, stand, and dance without regret.
Bring something for the dark
As the sun drops, the air cools. a shawl, a thin layer — functional or theatrical.
Outshine the bride
Yes, really. We request it. Bring your best. Restraint is overrated.
Men's
Suit, please
This is not a casual italy moment.
Real shoes only
If you'd wear them to the beach or the gym, no.
Lean formal
Err on the side of overdressed. No one has ever regretted that.
Light is fine
Stone and warm neutrals work beautifully here.
