Getting to/from Noto
Getting to and from the airport: Please add your flight info on the "to-dos" tab. We'll coordinate private or shared group transfers to and from the airport at one set rate.
Where to stay
You'll be assigned to one of the following villas/masserias, all within minutes of each other:
- Masseria Cardinale
- Masseria degli Ulivi
- Villas Timo
Pricing will vary slightly by property and room type, but expect ~$150–$200/night per person.
Transport for additional trips + private driving
For anything outside of arrival/departure — day trips, private drivers, or custom tours — you can coordinate directly with Nino.
Nino is a fantastic driver — we've booked with him in the past. He's great for things like a day in Syracuse/Ortigia, beach runs, winery visits, or exploring nearby towns. Excellent English, premium cars, reliable, and fair pricing.

Local taxi service (within Noto): For shorter local transfers — dinners in town, getting around Noto, or rides within roughly 30 minutes of the masseria — we recommend TAXINOTO.
Wifi & Connectivity
The hotels and Masseria will all have Wifi available.
We recommend getting an eSim from AirAlo to ensure you have data once you land.

Day Trips for guests coming early or staying late
If you've made it this far, you may as well keep going. Use taxinoto for 30-45 min trips or Nino for 1+ hour trips!
Sicily rewards people who linger. Take the long lunch. Miss a turn on purpose. Order the thing you can't pronounce. Below are a few places we'd happily detour for.

The fishing village everyone wishes they'd discovered first.
Small enough to explore in an afternoon, charming enough to accidentally spend the whole day. Colorful boats, quiet piazzas, and some of the prettiest seaside dinners in sicily.
Perfect for: lazy lunches that become sunset dinners.
Ortigia & Syracuse40 min from noto
Our favorite place to get beautifully lost.
A tiny island stitched together with honey-colored stone, sea views, hidden courtyards, and piazzas that somehow become more magical after sunset. Come hungry, stay late.
Don't miss: wandering without a plan, the morning market (look for the legendary salumi shop), aperitivo by the water (yes, there's a bar on a boat), the archaeological park, and impossibly fresh seafood.
Modica45 min from noto
Come for the chocolate. Stay for everything else.
Built dramatically into the hillside, modica is all winding staircases, baroque churches, and a chocolate tradition dating back centuries.
Bring home: chocolate you'll immediately regret not buying more of.
Ragusa Ibla1 hr from noto
A city that feels like a movie set.
One of sicily's most beautiful historic centers, filled with grand staircases, hidden alleys, and enough gelato stops to justify walking all of them.
Best enjoyed: slowly.

Yes, you'll already be here—but don't rush it. Wake up early before the streets fill, wander the golden limestone city, grab a granita, and pretend you're moving into one of the palazzos permanently.
Mount Etna2 hr from noto
For those who packed hiking shoes.
Europe's tallest active volcano is equal parts lunar landscape and wine country. Whether you hike, take a jeep, or simply drink the local wines, it's one of sicily's most unforgettable days.
Worth it for: the drive alone—and an etna rosso at the end of it.
Cefalù3 hr from noto
The classic seaside postcard.
Golden beaches, medieval streets, and just enough glamour to make extending your trip feel like a responsible decision.
Ideal for: a couple of slow beach days before heading home.
Aeolian Islands3–5 hr from noto (drive + ferry)
For anyone chasing that "we should just stay another week" feeling.
Volcanic islands scattered off sicily's northern coast, each with its own personality—from chic beach clubs to black sand beaches and volcano hikes.
If you have time: spend at least three nights.
Sardinia5–7 hr from noto (flight or ferry)
If your vacation needs a vacation.
Technically another island, spiritually another universe. Crystal-clear water, hidden coves, long lunches, and some of the best beaches in europe.
Our advice: don't try to do it all. Pick one coast and settle in.
Puglia6–8 hr from noto (flight or ferry)
If you're continuing north.
Whitewashed villages, olive groves older than most countries, incredible seafood, and enough masserie to convince you to cancel your return flight.
Don't miss: ostuni, alberobello, monopoli, and an afternoon with absolutely no plans.
Wherever you end up, remember: the best plans in italy usually start with, "let's just stop here for one drink."

Are kids welcome?
Children are warmly invited to join us for our pre and post-wedding celebrations.
For the ceremony, we'll provide on-site childcare at the masseria with trusted nannies so parents can fully enjoy the moment. kids will be cared for nearby and reunited with you shortly after. full details to come.
What will the weather be like?
Warm, dry, sunny days with cooler evenings. Think summer layers.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors. It will be hot in august. Stay hydrated.
Why Noto?
Because Devin's father's family is from Ucria, a mountain town inland from Noto. Noto felt like the right place to gather: open to the sea, built for long evenings and shared meals.
What kind of shoes should i wear?
No stiletto heels. Uneven terrain.
Chunky heels, platforms, sandals, or flats recommended. No sneakers.
Is it okay to take photos?
Yes! — please do, and share them on our wedding instagram @fel.marries.dev.
We do ask that phones and cameras stay away during the ceremony itself.
Can I bring a gift?
Your presence truly means everything to us. This is a destination wedding and traveling to sicily is already a big commitment. If you're joining us, that's more than enough.
